What’s an HTE?

HTE stands for “High Terpene Extract,” which refers to extracts that contain a higher ratio of terpenes to THC than most other extracts.

Our friends at Higher Cultures are pros at making these tasty extracts, and the process to create them ensures only the finest and purest materials are used to make the best product available.

To start, our flower is flash-frozen to keep it as fresh as possible. This frozen plant matter is taken to the lab, where it undergoes a dual-extraction method.

This means the flower is melted down at a low temperature to keep the plant’s terpenes alive and great-tasting. The terpenes are then captured so the rest of the plant matter can be melted at a higher temperature to turn it into concentrate.

Once formed into concentrate, the terpenes from the same matter are then added back in, making all of our cartridges single source (from the same batch of plants).

The solvents used are then distilled back into liquid form to be used all over again, making the process a closed-loop extraction (not creating any waste).
