Why Are THCV Products More Expensive?

Most cannabis products on the shelf today are in direct competition with each other to give the user the most bang for their buck. While we do value an accessible price point, VIVA’s THCV products are priced the way they are for a few good reasons, and we wanted to be transparent about it.

To start; THCV strains are rare, and harder to grow.

The plants themselves have almost double the grow time (sixteen weeks!) of other commonly grown strains, which means more time spent on the farm tending to them.

Our products are made from live resin,

which is the best way (we think) to provide you guys with fresh, delicious terpenes straight from the plant. But this process is lengthy and tricky, and time equals money. You can find out more about our process here.

VIVA has spent close to a decade breeding our strains to provide the world (one day) with high-quality and high-percentage THCV that you can’t find anywhere else.

That kind of time and dedication don’t come cheap, and we would like to ensure everyone on our team gets paid the amount they deserve for all their hard work.

We don’t cut corners.

Our plants receive the highest quality care we can possibly provide. We use the no-till method to ensure the ground is kept as natural as possible to keep much-needed nutrients for our plants, and they are supplemented with our own special mixture of fish compound and other natural fertilizer to help them grow healthy and strong.

We think the quality and care we put into our products is evident, what about you?
